DevOps Engineer

About the role

Persistent is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support product delivery across its digital engineering portfolio. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and security controls while collaborating closely with development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with coworkers to conceptualize, develop, and test software solutions.
• Conduct quality‑assurance activities to ensure software meets defined guidelines.
• Roll out fixes and upgrades to production and non‑production environments as needed.
• Secure applications and infrastructure to prevent breaches and vulnerabilities.
• Collect and review customer feedback to improve user experience.
• Suggest workflow alterations to increase efficiency and success.
• Pitch project ideas based on market gaps and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of industry best practices for DevOps and software delivery.
• Good organizational and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in Java technologies and analytical problem‑solving.
• Ability to anticipate issues, define remedial actions, and work effectively in a team.
