DevOps Engineer - II

About the role

AU Small Finance Bank Limited is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join its IT department. This mid‑level role focuses on building and maintaining automated, secure, and cost‑effective cloud infrastructure for banking applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
• Manage and optimise cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) while ensuring security, compliance, and cost‑efficiency.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to automate workflows and improve release frequency.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure high availability of critical banking services.
• Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform or CloudFormation and maintain configuration management with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Conduct security assessments, enforce best practices, and support regulatory compliance audits.
• Document processes, configurations, and architecture for knowledge sharing and audit purposes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on DevOps experience, preferably in financial services.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or CKA are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of financial regulatory requirements and their impact on IT infrastructure.
