DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Kubernetes Specialist

About the role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, implement and maintain our microservice infrastructure on Azure. The role focuses on building reliable, scalable Kubernetes environments and automating deployment pipelines to support rapid delivery of applications.
Key responsibilities
- Design, deploy and manage Kubernetes (AKS) clusters on Azure for microservices.
- Implement service mesh using Istio and OpenTelemetry for secure, observable communication.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Opsera and GitLab CI.
- Manage infrastructure as code using Helm, ArgoCD and Terraform following GitOps principles.
- Develop automation scripts in Python, Groovy and Bash for build, deployment and integration tasks.
- Configure monitoring and alerting with Dynatrace, Prometheus and Grafana.
- Create runbooks, cost estimates and support documentation for production releases.
- Troubleshoot Kubernetes, microservice and CI/CD issues in production and lower environments.
- Collaborate with vendors and support teams for third‑party integrations such as Akamai, Apigee, Kafka, MySQL, Redis and Palo Alto firewalls.
Required profile
- Strong experience with Kubernetes on Azure (AKS) and service‑mesh architectures.
- Hands‑on expertise in CI/CD tooling, infrastructure‑as‑code and automation scripting.
- Ability to work with cross‑functional teams, vendors and production support to resolve incidents.
