DevOps Engineer – Cloud Automation

About the role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer with 1‑3 years of experience to join our growing technology team. The role focuses on automating, optimizing, and maintaining development and deployment infrastructure while ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline release processes.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimise infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain containerisation and orchestration solutions.
• Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and best practices.
• Manage source code repositories and version‑control systems.
• Support production deployments and incident resolution.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix administration.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Docker and containerisation technologies.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes or other orchestration platforms.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong understanding of Git and version‑control practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch).
• Basic scripting skills in Bash, Python or Shell.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes) are a plus.
• Understanding of networking, security and system architecture concepts.
