About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with deep AWS expertise to design, automate, and migrate our services to modern container platforms. You will work closely with cloud and application architecture teams to modernize our infrastructure and improve delivery pipelines.

Key responsibilities

Build automation for container technologies and migrate micro‑services from ECS and Kubernetes to our golden platform (EKS/AKS).
Assist in containerizing a monolithic Ruby on Rails application on EKS/AKS.
Participate in the design and evaluation of new tools, techniques, and technologies.
Manage CALM pipelines and Kubernetes pods.
Contribute to the architecture and delivery of our cloud platform.
Develop tooling using Terraform, YAML, JavaScript, Ruby, PowerShell, and Bash.
Lead AWS platform designs in collaboration with cloud and application architecture groups.
Operationalize services on AWS using monitoring tools such as New Relic.
Support API Gateway and related infrastructure components.

Required profile

Strong scripting/programming experience (Java, Python, Ruby, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript or equivalent).
Proven experience building scalable CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
Hands‑on experience onboarding teams to Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows.
Solid background in cloud hosting on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Experience with configuration‑management tools (Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible).
Deep knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, AKS).
Familiarity with AWS Controllers for Kubernetes, Crossplane, and API Gateway.
Strong Git version‑control skills and branch‑strategy expertise.
Ability to deploy and operate immutable infrastructure.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
