Developer III - Software Engineering

About the role

We are looking for a Developer III to design, develop and maintain Java‑based applications that meet business needs. The role involves writing clean, efficient code, translating requirements into technical solutions, and ensuring high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Framework, Spring Boot and Hibernate/JPA.
• Write clean, well‑documented, and efficient code following best practices.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects.
• Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and business analysts in cross‑functional teams.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17 or later) and solid OOP knowledge.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Familiarity with Git version control and Maven or Gradle build tools.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
