Developer – Databricks SQL, Delta Lake & PySpark

About the role

We are looking for a Developer to design and implement data solutions using Databricks SQL, Delta Lake and PySpark. The role focuses on the Property & Casualty Insurance domain and offers a hybrid work model with day‑time shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise data pipelines with Databricks SQL and Delta Lake.
• Design, build and maintain Databricks Workflows to streamline data operations.
• Use PySpark for advanced data transformations and analytics.
• Analyse insurance data to generate actionable insights.
• Implement validation and monitoring to ensure data integrity.
• Contribute to scalable data architecture aligned with business goals.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to Databricks and PySpark implementations.
• Document technical specifications and maintain process records.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Databricks SQL, Delta Lake and Workflows.
• Solid knowledge of PySpark for data processing.
• Domain expertise in Property & Casualty Insurance.
