Desktop Support Engineer

About the role

The Desktop Support Engineer provides first‑line technical assistance to end‑users across Windows, macOS and Linux environments. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage ticket queues, and ensure smooth operation of laptops, desktops, printers and mobile devices.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and OS problems on Dell and HP laptops, desktops, and HP network printers.
• Support iPhone and Mac devices, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Manage incidents and service requests in ServiceNow, ensuring tickets are closed promptly.
• Coordinate repairs with vendors, OEMs, and external repair facilities.
• Perform moves, adds, and changes (MAC) for software and hardware across all endpoints.
• Create, capture, and deploy Windows images using MECM.
• Maintain AD, DNS, DHCP, and file‑share structures within the corporate domain.
• Apply EDR solutions, patching, and security updates.

Required profile

• Degree or coursework in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong telephone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience mentoring or training colleagues at various skill levels.
