Design Engineer – Turbomachinery

About the role

Everllence is seeking a Design Engineer to perform basic and detailed engineering activities for turbomachinery and rotating equipment. The role involves calculations, equipment selection, and creation of engineering models and manufacturing drawings using CAD tools, delivering high‑quality designs that meet stakeholder and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Create 3D and 2D models in NX based on engineering inputs.
• Evaluate existing designs and develop cost‑effective solutions for castings, forgings, machined and fabricated components.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings, incorporate FEA results, and generate BOMs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet project deadlines and ensure compliance with industry standards, safety and environmental regulations.
• Support new sales, retrofits, refurbishments and footprint replacement activities.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in turbomachinery, rotating equipment, or steam turbines, compressors, or gas turbines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Required skills

• Proficiency in NX and AutoCAD for 3D modeling and drafting.
• Experience with FEA, tolerance stack‑up analysis, and assembly design.
• Knowledge of turbine/compressor components such as blades, vanes, casings, rotors, base frames and structural supports.
• Hands‑on experience with reverse engineering, refurbishing and technical support during assembly and commissioning.
