Design Engineer

About the role

Driplex Engitech Ltd is seeking a Design Engineer to join its engineering team in Vadodara. The role focuses on mechanical design, product development, and providing accurate drawings to support production of high‑quality couplings and related components for the oil & gas, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team to develop new products and improve existing ones.
• Create detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and design documentation using Solid Edge.
• Analyze prototype data, conduct retesting, and iterate designs as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and support vendor development for design components.
• Utilize STERP for design workflows where applicable.
• Research and propose new product ideas, concepts, and engineering improvements.
• Ensure designs comply with engineering, safety, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, and updates.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience as a Design Engineer or in a similar mechanical design role.
• Proficiency with Solid Edge (mandatory).
• Strong oral and written English communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and solid mechanical understanding.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
