Design Engineer II – Well Services

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer to lead the mechanical design of Well Services products. The role covers the full development cycle, from concept and CAD modeling to prototyping, testing, and manufacturing support, within the Oil & Gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems from concept through production.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor, Creo, DraftSight/AutoCAD, and manage data in Windchill PLM.
• Perform engineering calculations, material selection, tolerance analysis, and design verification.
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and product records.
• Support PLM activities, including data loading, model cleanup, and part file management.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, purchasing, CAD analysts, project leads, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution.
• Define project scope, monitor schedules, and provide manufacturing support during prototyping and production.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, engineering standards, and quality requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8–10 years of mechanical design and product development experience, preferably in Oil & Gas wireline or drilling services.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Autodesk Inventor and other CAD tools.
