Design Engineer – Catalogue Development

About the role

Seco Tools India is seeking a Design Engineer to join its Digital Design & Data Support team in Pune. The role focuses on creating and maintaining high‑quality catalogue content that supports global product launches and customer communications.

Key responsibilities

• Create, update and publish catalogue pages, guide pages and digital assets for new product introductions and portfolio updates.
• Integrate product information, engineering data, images, technical illustrations and visual assets into catalogue layouts.
• Produce and enhance product images, callouts, annotations and other digital assets.
• Validate product and technical information, ensuring compliance with Seco branding, typography and publishing standards.
• Collaborate with Product Information, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing and Design teams to guarantee technical accuracy and visual consistency.
• Maintain organized project files, templates, version control and digital asset libraries throughout the catalogue lifecycle.
• Track and achieve team KPIs, delivering projects on schedule.
• Identify and implement improvements to catalogue quality, efficiency and digital publishing processes.

Required profile

• Strong experience in catalogue creation, page layout and digital publishing.
• Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as KeyShot.
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and mechanical products.
• Experience handling product information, digital assets and publishing workflows.
• Familiarity with PLM/PIM systems (e.g., Enovia, STIBO) and translation tools such as Trados is a plus.
