Deputy Process Specialist – Intercompany

About the role

The Intercompany Specialist is responsible for managing end‑to‑end intercompany accounting activities, ensuring timely reconciliation, accurate financial reporting, effective dispute resolution, and governance of intercompany transactions across global legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform intercompany GL reconciliations across SAP and non‑SAP systems and prepare accrual calculations during month‑end and year‑end close.
• Monitor ageing intercompany balances, drive dispute resolution and provide regular reporting to finance controllers and operations teams.
• Coordinate non‑trade intercompany invoicing, ensure timely processing, validation and settlement of invoices.
• Facilitate periodic review meetings with finance controllers, operations and global process owners to discuss balances, accruals and open items.
• Leverage AI tools, automation and data analytics to improve reconciliation efficiency, identify anomalies and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of experience in intercompany accounting, general ledger, R2R or shared services finance operations.
• Experience with SAP ERP and financial reconciliation tools preferred.
• Exposure to digital finance transformation and automation initiatives is an advantage.

Required skills

• SAP ERP system proficiency.
• Data analytics and visualization using Power BI.
• AI literacy and use of generative AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
• Process automation tools including Power Automate and awareness of RPA.
