About the role
The Deputy Manager – HR Business Partner will support the Power Tools business unit in Bangalore by driving strategic workforce planning, talent development and employee experience initiatives. Reporting to senior HR leadership, you will act as a trusted advisor to business managers and help build a high‑performance culture.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders to forecast manpower needs, plan succession and maintain a robust talent pipeline for critical roles.
- Lead the Talent Review process, identify high‑potential employees and design development actions such as job rotations and internal mobility.
- Oversee performance management cycles, administer the Annual Salary Review and promote a culture of rewards and recognition.
- Support managers in delivering end‑to‑end employee experience interventions and analyse feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Coach key talent and people managers, providing guidance on leadership growth and team performance.
Required profile
- Relevant higher education degree (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent).
- Several years of experience in HR business partnering, talent management or workforce planning, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities, with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
