Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager – Process Planner

About the role

The role translates customer and stakeholder strategies into operational excellence by improving value‑stream efficiency through innovative technical solutions and by managing IPN lead‑plant functions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and assess capacity gaps, implement manufacturing value‑addition flows and drive process changes to meet technical capacity and customer requirements.
• Develop and maintain value‑stream plans, collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders and lead projects that improve efficiency and operational excellence.
• Implement customer‑specific process requirements, establish controls such as FMEA, PPAP, CpK studies and ensure defect‑free production.
• Prepare budgets, lead cost‑reduction initiatives and validate contingency plans to secure business continuity.
• Administer IPN lead‑plant functions, coordinate volume allocation, TEK and ECR activities and work with controlling on cost allocation.

Required profile

• Engineering graduate (Mechanical, Production, Electrical/Electronic, or related) with at least 5 years of process‑planning experience in the automotive component industry.
• Hands‑on experience with core processes such as honing, grinding, lapping, cleaning and laser technologies.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems independently and drive continuous improvement using statistical and lean tools.

Required skills

• Statistical tools and data‑analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau, myMeasure).
• Quality‑management methodologies (Shainin, HEP, Six Sigma, AIAG core tools – PFMEA, Control Plan, Work Instructions).
• Enterprise resource planning – SAP PP module.
• Production monitoring systems (MES, MAS, Industry 4.0 solutions).
• Agile methodology and project‑management techniques.
