Deputy IT Product Owner - SAP Production to Stock (P2S)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Deputy IT Product Owner to lead our SAP Production to Stock (P2S) team in Bangalore. You will drive continuous development of SAP R/3 and S/4 HANA solutions, ensuring alignment with automotive business objectives and overall SAP architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of IT consultants and developers in an agile environment.
• Define and communicate the vision for the Production to Stock chain.
• Participate in process design, focusing on technical aspects, re‑usability, and SAP standard usage.
• Consult user departments and governance functions on P2S matters.
• Identify dependencies, prioritize backlog, and manage product lifecycle (design, build, rollout, support, maintenance).
• Collaborate with other product development teams and chief product owners to drive standardisation.
• Resolve cross‑team prioritisation conflicts.
• Define team set‑up, required competencies, and ensure appropriate staffing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in design, implementation or consulting for Production to Stock processes.
• Proven leadership of expert SAP development teams.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in production IT applications.
• Strong knowledge of SAP R/3 and SAP S/4 HANA in Production Planning & Execution.
• Experience with Solution Manager and Jira tools.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management and Agile methodology is a plus.
