Deployment Strategist

About the role

As a Deployment Strategist at Sarvam, you will bridge the gap between AI pilots and production‑grade AI systems for India’s largest banks, insurers, government agencies and digital‑native enterprises. You will own the entire customer engagement, from proof of concept to a live, high‑volume system handling millions of multilingual conversations.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end deployments, ensuring the solution meets agreed KPIs from proof of concept through production.
• Conduct implementation discovery to map integrations, data realities, compliance constraints and edge cases for each client.
• Plan and run deployment programmes, managing timelines, dependencies, risks and scope while handling difficult conversations when plans drift.
• Serve as the primary customer point of contact throughout delivery, coordinating with Sarvam’s Agent Engineers and certified partners.
• Drive user adoption, ensuring that technical solutions are embraced by collection teams, branch staff or citizen helpdesks.
• Document operating charters, monitoring procedures and scaling guidelines for post‑go‑live stability.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience delivering client‑facing outcomes, preferably in consulting, systems integration or enterprise delivery.
• Proven ability to own outcomes with measurable dates and numbers, not just project plans.
• Technical fluency to discuss integration approaches, latency, reliability and scale with engineers.
• Understanding of agentic AI, LLM behavior in production, prompt engineering and evaluation at scale.
• Experience navigating regulated environments such as banks, insurers or public sector organisations.
• Clear, precise communication skills with strong written and escalation capabilities.
