Data Stewardship Manager – Manufacturing & Supply Chain

About the role

The Manager, Data Stewardship is responsible for creating, maintaining and ensuring the accuracy of master data that supports Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management operations. Reporting to the Global Lead for Data Stewardship, the role combines hands‑on master data work with leadership of a team of 3‑8 Data Stewards in a hybrid work model based in Hyderabad.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and oversee master data creation, extension, update and maintenance in SAP ECC and SAP S/4, ensuring compliance with SOPs, GxP and global data standards.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of Data Stewards, managing workload, priorities and performance reviews.
• Act as escalation point for complex data requests and collaborate with supply chain, ISO stewards and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Identify and drive automation and continuous‑improvement opportunities, applying tools such as Gemini and AI‑enabled solutions to streamline processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Data Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in master data management, SAP material master data, and supply chain operations, with prior leadership of a small team.

Required skills

• Strong practical knowledge of SAP ECC and SAP S/4 master data processes.
• Hands‑on experience with Material Master Data creation, maintenance and change activities.
• Proficiency with Gemini generative AI tool for data analysis and documentation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
