About the role
Capco is looking for a Data Scientist with strong R programming expertise to support data and analytics initiatives for its banking, financial services and energy clients. The role involves applying statistical analysis, machine learning and data visualisation to drive business insights.
Required profile
- Strong proficiency in R programming using RStudio and the tidyverse (dplyr, tidyr).
- Experience in data manipulation, statistical analysis and visualisation, including building Shiny dashboards.
Required skills
- Machine‑learning libraries such as caret, randomForest and xgboost.
- Data visualisation tools like ggplot2 and Shiny.
- Familiarity with Databricks and data pipelines.
- Version control with Git and Agile delivery practices (Scrum).
- Solid understanding of statistics, probability and data‑modeling concepts.
