About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Data Scientist to develop and deploy AI/ML solutions that drive operational efficiency, improve customer experience, and strengthen core product value across its global payments network.

Key responsibilities

Gather relevant information to define the business problem.
Translate business challenges into AI/ML solutions using the latest methodologies.
Develop and deploy AI/ML applications at scale across Mastercard’s divisions.
Collaborate cross‑functionally and across borders with diverse teams to execute the AI agenda.

Required profile

Passion for AI demonstrated by participation in competitions such as Kaggle.
Experience with deep‑learning techniques, statistical tools, and programming in Python, R, and SQL.
Familiarity with big‑data platforms like Hadoop, Hive, Spark and GPU clusters.
Strong background in classical machine‑learning algorithms and recommender‑system methods.
