Data Scientist - Generative AI

About the role

C5i, a pure‑play AI and analytics provider, is looking for a Data Scientist specialized in Generative AI to join its Bangalore team. You will work on cutting‑edge AI solutions for Fortune 500 clients across technology, media, pharma, CPG and banking.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy advanced Generative AI models, including large language models and other deep‑learning architectures.
• Research and implement state‑of‑the‑art NLP, computer‑vision and machine‑learning algorithms.
• Collaborate with domain experts and technical teams to translate client requirements into scalable AI solutions.
• Process, cleanse and analyse large‑scale datasets for model training, fine‑tuning and validation.
• Evaluate model performance, conduct rigorous testing and iterate to meet accuracy and efficiency standards.
• Contribute to C5i’s proprietary AI product suite and accelerators.
• Stay current with Generative AI advancements and share knowledge within the team.

Required profile

• Proven commercial experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer with a focus on Generative AI.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a creative mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Data‑science libraries: Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn.
• Deep‑learning frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face.
• Experience with transformers, GANs, VAEs and Large Language Models.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their ML services.
