Data Privacy Consultant – Data Protection & Compliance

About the role

We are looking for a Data Privacy professional to help Deloitte’s clients develop and implement data protection policies, assess privacy risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. The role combines legal knowledge with practical risk‑management to safeguard personal information across diverse industries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop data protection policies and procedures aligned with privacy laws for client organisations.
• Conduct assessments to identify data privacy risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and evaluate data processing activities to verify compliance with applicable regulations.
• Provide guidance on Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), risk assessments, data governance and privacy impact assessments.
• Design and build privacy frameworks, redesign processes and implement privacy controls for clients.

Required profile

• 2–10+ years of experience in data protection or privacy compliance.
• Relevant certifications such as CIPT, CIPM, CIPPE preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in law, information technology or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
