Data Privacy Consultant – Associate (Noida)

About the role

PwC is seeking a Data Privacy Consultant to ensure compliance with global data protection and privacy regulations. The role involves advising on privacy frameworks, conducting assessments, and implementing best practices to safeguard personal data across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct privacy gap assessments and compliance reviews against GDPR, DPDPA, CCPA/CPRA and other applicable laws.
• Develop and implement privacy policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Perform third‑party privacy assessments and create data flow diagrams to track personal data.
• Prepare Records of Processing Activities and support DPIAs and PIAs.
• Provide training and awareness sessions on data privacy and advise on technical safeguards such as encryption and pseudonymization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law, engineering, information security, computer science or related field; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
• 2–6 years of experience in data privacy, compliance or information security.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, DPDPA, CCPA/CPRA and other international privacy laws.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Technical privacy controls: encryption, pseudonymization, access management, privacy‑enhancing technologies.
• Familiarity with SAP modules CLM, SIPM, ECC and CIG (mandatory) and SAP Ariba (optional).
