Data Governance Analyst – Corporate Functions

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Data Governance Analyst within its Corporate Functions team in Hyderabad. You will support the management of metadata, data cataloging and quality processes, helping the firm maintain accurate and reliable data assets across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business teams to create and maintain the data catalog.
• Monitor and manage metadata to ensure accuracy and ongoing updates.
• Assist with data cataloging, profiling, lineage, and data quality processes.
• Provide guidance and training on the Metadata Dictionary and Taxonomy.
• Produce metrics and management reporting related to metadata usage and content quality.
• Complete special projects and support departmental needs.
• Handle escalations related to metadata processes and support GIDS leadership.
• Stay informed about changes in the broader data landscape and provide insights.

Required profile

• 0–3 years of experience in a data role, preferably in financial services.
• Understanding of metadata, data modeling and data entity relationships.
• Postgraduate degree; IT or finance‑related certifications are a plus.
• Flexible team player with strong accuracy, ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Metadata management tools (training provided if needed).
• Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Data modeling and understanding of data entity relationships.
