Data Centre Operation Technician (DCO Tech)

About the role

Amazon Data Services India (ADSIPL) is looking for a Data Centre Operation Technician to join its Operations team. You will help maintain and operate the AWS global infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of data centre hardware and networking.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure server racks and related hardware.
• Perform hardware break‑fix on servers, storage, networking, power and cooling components.
• Troubleshoot network issues and respond to emergent situations affecting operational stability.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal teams (Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Developers, Technical Operations) and external partners (hardware vendors, contractors, service providers).
• Work on assigned trouble tickets, meet SLA targets, and provide first‑line support.

Required profile

• Experience with Linux operating systems and hardware engineering in a data‑centre environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an Operations team.
• Strong customer‑facing skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• Capability to follow defined workflows and meet service level agreements.
