Data Center Technician – Data Center Operations

About the role

Amazon Data Services India Private Limited is looking for a Data Center Technician to join its Data Center Operations (DCO) team. You will work on the maintenance and upkeep of AWS data center infrastructure, ensuring reliable service for internal engineering teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal customers (network, systems, software, technical operations) and external service partners (hardware vendors, contractors).
• Install and configure server racks and related hardware components.
• Perform hardware break‑fix on servers, storage, networking, power and cooling equipment.
• Troubleshoot network and connectivity issues affecting operational stability.
• Respond to emergent situations and meet SLA targets on assigned trouble tickets.

Required profile

• Experience working in a data‑center environment or with Linux‑based systems.
• Strong technical aptitude for hardware maintenance and network troubleshooting.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse engineering teams and external vendors.
• Willingness to work in an onsite, fast‑paced operational setting.
