Data Center Technician, Data Center Operations (DCO)

About the role

As a Data Center Technician in Data Center Operations (DCO) you will help keep Amazon Web Services’ global cloud infrastructure running smoothly. You will work with a diverse team of engineers, supply‑chain specialists and security experts to deliver reliable, scalable server and network services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Linux‑based server infrastructures with a focus on reliability and scalability.
• Perform comprehensive system monitoring, diagnostics and performance optimisation.
• Configure and manage network hardware including switches, routers and complex cabling systems.
• Develop and maintain robust backup and disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless technological integration and adherence to safety and security standards.
