About the role

Join Amazon Web Services' Data Center Operations team in India and help keep the global cloud infrastructure running smoothly. As a Data Center Operations Technician you will work on high‑density data centers, installing equipment, fixing hardware, and ensuring network stability for millions of customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure server racks and related infrastructure.
• Perform hardware break‑fix on servers, storage, networking and power equipment.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve emergent incidents affecting operational stability.
• Serve as the first point of contact for internal teams (Network Engineers, Systems Engineers, Software Developers) and external vendors.
• Manage and close trouble tickets within defined SLAs.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and respond to data‑center emergencies.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills to interact with internal customers and external service partners.
