Cybersecurity Specialist II

About the role

IFF’s Digital Technology Solutions team is looking for a Specialist II, Cybersecurity to support its global technology organization. Based in Chennai, you will work with business and technology stakeholders to drive operational excellence, governance, and continuous improvement in cybersecurity.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver measurable business outcomes through strategic initiatives and execution.
• Partner with stakeholders to align priorities, requirements, and business objectives.
• Analyze complex challenges and implement sustainable, scalable solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and automation opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to technology, security, risk, and governance standards.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor documentation, operational metrics, and performance reporting.
• Provide expertise and guidance within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Collaborate effectively across global, cross‑functional, and diverse teams.
• Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and champion innovation and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Data Science, Business or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Relevant professional experience aligned with the scope and responsibilities of the role.
• Strong domain expertise with knowledge of enterprise systems, processes, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, documentation, and process‑improvement methodologies.
• Experience leveraging technology tools and platforms to support business objectives and operational excellence.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across global, cross‑functional teams and stakeholder groups.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and customer‑focused capabilities.
• Demonstrated accountability, adaptability, and commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
• Preferred certifications such as PMP, Scrum, ITIL, CISSP, CISM, AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, Salesforce, SAP, or equivalent.
