Cybersecurity Manager – Data Protection & Information Protection

About the role

As a Cybersecurity Manager in EY’s Cybersecurity practice, you will lead the delivery of Data Protection, Information Governance and Insider Risk Management services for a range of clients. You will design, implement and optimise enterprise‑wide data protection controls, working closely with business, compliance, legal and security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and administer enterprise Data Loss Prevention solutions such as Microsoft Purview DLP, Forcepoint DLP or equivalent.
• Design and implement DLP policies across email, collaboration, cloud, endpoint and productivity services, including Microsoft 365 suite.
• Implement and manage sensitivity labels, classification policies and information protection controls using Microsoft Purview or similar platforms.
• Configure, monitor and support enterprise data encryption solutions (e.g., IBM Guardium, Thales CipherTrust) across on‑premises, cloud and hybrid environments.
• Generate operational, risk and compliance reports and support audit and regulatory compliance activities.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in Data Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Information Protection, compliance or cybersecurity consulting.
• Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security or related discipline (B.Tech, M.Tech or equivalent).
• Proven experience delivering enterprise DLP, classification, labeling and encryption projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills, with ability to handle multiple client engagements.
