Cyber Security Manager

About the role

PracticeSuite, a leading healthcare technology company, is looking for a Cyber Security Manager to join its Information Security team in Kochi. The role will safeguard the company’s cloud‑based EHR, practice management and revenue cycle platforms, ensuring protection of sensitive health data and compliance with industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, logs and events using SIEM and other monitoring tools.
• Investigate suspicious activities, conduct threat hunting and perform security event analysis.
• Lead incident investigations, maintain response playbooks and coordinate containment, eradication and recovery.
• Run regular vulnerability assessments, prioritize findings and drive remediation with infrastructure and development teams.
• Implement and maintain security controls in cloud environments, monitor cloud posture and remediate misconfigurations.
• Manage endpoint protection solutions, including EDR/XDR platforms, and review firewall and network security configurations.
• Provide security awareness training, run phishing simulations and promote best practices.
• Partner with Software Engineering and DevOps to embed security into the SDLC and assess third‑party vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations or information security.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and healthcare‑industry compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with IT, engineering, DevOps and compliance teams.
