Cyber Security Manager (Healthcare Technology)

About the role

PracticeSuite, a cloud‑based healthcare technology provider, is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Manager to lead its cybersecurity program from the Kochi office. The role will protect applications, infrastructure, networks, endpoints, cloud environments and sensitive health data while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve the overall cybersecurity program, policies, procedures and technical controls.
• Monitor security posture across applications, infrastructure, endpoints, networks and cloud environments, and report metrics to management.
• Lead detection, investigation, containment and remediation of security incidents; create and maintain incident response playbooks.
• Coordinate security investigations involving malware, phishing, unauthorized access, data exposure and credential compromise.
• Own vulnerability management, including scanning, penetration testing, application security assessments and remediation tracking.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Infrastructure, DevOps, Product, Compliance, HR and senior leadership to identify risks and implement practical controls.
• Engage external security vendors, SOC/MSSP providers and other third parties as needed.

Required profile

• Hands‑on leadership experience in cybersecurity.
• Proven ability to work closely with engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, product, compliance, HR and senior leadership teams.
• Experience managing incident response processes and vulnerability management programs.
