Cyber Security Engineer – Automotive (ISO 21434)

About the role

We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer with strong expertise in the automotive domain to join our VS Quality team. The role focuses on implementing and managing security features across vehicle platforms, ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO 21434 and UNECE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and validate security features including secure boot, firewalls, TLS, and PKI.
• Analyse automotive protocols (CAN, Ethernet, Diagnostics) for security vulnerabilities.
• Perform requirement management, threat analysis (TARA, STRIDE) and develop security architectures.
• Conduct source‑code analysis and debugging to identify and remediate security flaws.
• Support Cyber Security Management System (CSMS), CIA processes and related planning activities.
• Apply ASPICE CS, MAN7, SEC1, SEC2 guidelines and assist with UNECE R155/R156 compliance.
• Participate in RED article 3.3d certification and security test‑suite execution.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in the automotive sector, preferably in automotive cybersecurity.
• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (B.Tech, MCA).
• Hands‑on experience with ISO 21434 and automotive security standards.
