Cyber Security Analyst – Manager (5+ years experience)

About the role

The role is part of Clifford Chance’s global cyber security team, responsible for managing and investigating cyber incidents across the firm’s estate. You will work closely with the MSSP and internal IT teams to contain and remediate threats.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and respond to cyber security incidents from initial triage through to closure.
• Investigate incidents using tools such as Microsoft Defender, SIEM platforms, log analysis and malware sandboxes.
• Document incidents clearly and report to senior security leadership.
• Research and incorporate threat intelligence into investigations and reports.
• Perform threat hunting and track threat actors using open‑source intelligence.
• Collaborate with architecture, IT operations, network security and risk teams to implement security enhancements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on cyber incident response experience.
• Strong knowledge of data breaches, ransomware, fraud and advanced threat techniques.
• Ability to communicate security concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience with Azure / M365 cloud environments and on‑premises IT.
