Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Cyber Security Analyst with 3–4 years of experience to join our Information Security team in Mumbai. You will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, investigating, and responding to cybersecurity incidents while protecting our systems, networks, and data.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM platforms and other security monitoring tools.
• Analyze and investigate incidents, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activities.
• Perform threat hunting, malware analysis, and root‑cause analysis.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation.
• Manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, and antivirus solutions.
• Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and compliance initiatives.
• Monitor network traffic and system logs to identify potential threats.
• Support incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Participate in security audits, risk assessments, and prepare reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT or related field.
• 3–4 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity operations or a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
• Strong knowledge of network security, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs and security protocols.
• Familiarity with cloud security concepts across AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Basic scripting proficiency in PowerShell, Python or Bash.

• SIEM tools: Splunk, IBM QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, ArcSight, LogRhythm, Sekoia.
• EDR/XDR solutions: Cortex XDR, Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne.
• Vulnerability management: Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7.
• Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Web Application Firewalls, endpoint security technologies.
• Monitoring platforms: Grafana, Datadog, Riverbed.
• Security frameworks: ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, MITRE ATT&CK.
