Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

The Cyber Security Analyst will protect the organization’s digital assets by performing vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and application security reviews. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, the analyst supports the Security Operations Center (SOC) and contributes to governance, risk and compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct hands‑on vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and application security evaluations.
• Participate in security architecture reviews to identify and mitigate risks.
• Support system and application integrations with the Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and potential threats.
• Assist in writing security rules and alerts for threat detection.
• Contribute to governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives.
• Review bank applications, network infrastructure, and server environments under supervision.
• Configure security solutions as required to support operational needs.
• Work independently while seeking guidance when necessary and collaborate effectively with team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s (BE/B.Tech) or Master’s (ME/M.Tech) degree in any discipline from a recognized institution.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, preferably within BFSI or IT/ITES sectors.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM are preferred.
