About the role
The Cyber Security Analyst will support the organization’s basic security monitoring and awareness initiatives. This entry‑level position focuses on reviewing alerts, logs, and access controls while helping to educate staff about phishing threats.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor basic security alerts, system logs, and ticketed incidents.
- Support access‑review processes and maintain related documentation.
- Assist with phishing awareness campaigns and security reporting activities.
- Escalate suspicious incidents to senior security teams for further investigation.
Required profile
- Familiarity with fundamental cybersecurity concepts and terminology.
- Understanding of phishing tactics, access control mechanisms, malware behavior, and incident reporting procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Required skills
- Knowledge of ticketing tools for incident tracking (preferred).
- Experience with monitoring tools used to observe security events (preferred).
