Customer Threat Advisor – Offensive Security

About the role

CloudSEK is seeking a Customer Threat Advisor to help clients translate cyber intelligence into actionable security measures. This customer‑facing position sits at the intersection of threat intelligence, AI security, and security consulting, working directly with CISOs, security teams, and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advanced penetration testing engagements, including Red Team operations, web, API, mobile, and cloud environment assessments.
• Identify, exploit, and validate critical vulnerabilities (including zero‑days) to demonstrate real‑world risk.
• Develop custom automation scripts and tools (Python, Go, PowerShell) to streamline offensive testing workflows.
• Translate technical findings into clear, actionable reports and guide engineering teams on mitigation strategies.
• Conduct deep research on emerging exploit techniques, TTPs, and threat intelligence to enhance internal methodologies.
• Present proof‑of‑concept demonstrations to clients, articulating technical risk and business impact.
• Collaborate with R&D and product teams to feed penetration testing insights into product improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of hands‑on offensive security experience, with a proven track record in Red Teaming and vulnerability exploitation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills focused on bypassing complex security controls.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities to convey technical risks to senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to support critical operational schedules, including rotating shifts if needed.

Required skills

• Python, Go, PowerShell scripting.
• Burp Suite Pro, Metasploit, Nmap, and other industry‑standard security tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and mobile platforms (iOS, Android).
• Knowledge of offensive security certifications (e.g., OSCP) and current threat‑intelligence trends.
