Customer Service Executive – Air & Ocean Freight

About the role

The Customer Service Executive provides end‑to‑end support for air and ocean freight shipments, acting as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams. You will ensure smooth execution from booking through final delivery while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, handling shipment inquiries and providing timely updates.
• Coordinate import and export shipments with airlines, shipping lines, overseas offices, customs brokers, transport providers and warehouses.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents such as Air Waybills, Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, packing lists and delivery orders.
• Update shipment milestones in the freight‑forwarding system (e.g., CargoWise) and maintain accurate records.
• Identify and resolve shipment issues, escalating critical problems when necessary.
• Verify operational completion before billing and assist finance with invoicing queries.
• Follow company SOPs, quality standards and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with a customer‑first mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced logistics environment.
• Fresh graduates with a passion for logistics are welcome; experienced candidates may take on additional responsibilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CargoWise or an equivalent freight‑forwarding system.
