Customer Data Governance Analyst

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a detail‑oriented Customer Data Governance Analyst to join its Customer Data Governance team in Bangalore. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of customer master data across enterprise systems, supporting business growth through reliable data.

Key responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and govern customer and contact master data in Salesforce and related systems.
• Manage account hierarchies to reflect accurate customer relationships and organizational structures.
• Perform account consolidation, contact merges, and customer record maintenance in line with governance standards.
• Execute match‑and‑merge processes to eliminate duplicates and establish trusted golden records.
• Conduct data quality reviews, audits, and remediation activities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Technology teams to resolve data issues and support business requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related discipline.
• Experience in Customer Master Data Management, Data Governance, or Business Operations.
• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce and customer data management processes.
• Strong understanding of account hierarchy management, consolidation, contact merging, and duplicate prevention.
• Analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management skills with excellent attention to detail.
