Custom Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Custom Software Engineer to design, develop and enhance tailored software solutions for our clients. The role involves working with modern Python frameworks and agile practices to deliver high‑performing, scalable applications that meet specific business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, test and maintain custom software components across various systems and applications.
• Utilise Python web development frameworks and libraries to build scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Improve existing applications to boost performance and user experience.
• Document software designs, processes and code to facilitate future maintenance.
• Provide guidance and support to junior developers.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience with Python frameworks.
• At least 15 years of full‑time education.
• Ability to work independently and become a subject‑matter expert.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and active participation in team discussions.
• Familiarity with version control systems and agile development methodologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and its web development frameworks.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile practices.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable and efficient code.
