Custom Software Engineer

About the role

The Custom Software Engineer will work closely with business stakeholders to translate process requirements into robust software solutions. Based in our Gurugram office, you will participate in the full lifecycle of custom applications built on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), ensuring they align with organisational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and analyse business requirements.
• Assist in defining functional specifications and designing application architecture.
• Develop, test and deploy custom applications on SAP BTP.
• Support troubleshooting and resolve application issues to maintain performance.
• Document technical specifications and design decisions for knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in SAP BTP application development.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and become a subject‑matter expert.
• Proactive problem‑solver comfortable participating in team discussions.

Required skills

• SAP BTP Application Development
• Experience with cloud‑based application platforms and services
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
