Custom Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Custom Software Engineer to design, build, and configure applications that meet specific business processes and requirements. The role is based in our Chennai office and involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, performant solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop, test, and debug Python‑based applications.
• Configure and integrate solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS) where required.
• Maintain version control using Git and ensure code quality.
• Document application specifications and create user guides.
• Participate in team discussions and contribute as a subject‑matter expert.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills for collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Educational background of at least 15 years of full‑time education.

Required skills

• Python programming language.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) – good to have.
• Git for version control.
• SQL and basic database management.
