Creative Director - Strategy & Operations

About the role

We are a specialist destination‑marketing agency serving national tourism boards across Asia and Africa. As Creative Director – Strategy & Operations you will own the strategic thinking behind every campaign and ensure flawless execution from concept to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative strategy for destination, digital, social, influencer and integrated campaigns.
• Act as the quality gate for all client‑facing work, approving only when it meets strategic and creative standards.
• Translate insights, data and cultural trends into clear strategic direction for the team.
• Lead, mentor and set standards for the creative team, aligning strategy with craft.
• Design and manage the operating rhythm – workflows, timelines, resourcing and quality control.
• Present strategic recommendations directly to clients and maintain ownership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee branded entertainment IP formats, from concept through execution.
• Build and refine systems that enable the team to scale without compromising quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 + years in advertising, digital, creative agencies or brand marketing.
• Proven track record of shaping strategy for real campaigns.
• Comfort working with both ideas and data, able to create strategy decks and interpret performance reports.
• Strong process‑orientation – capable of building operating structures for creative teams.
• Confident presenter, able to defend strategic decisions to senior clients.
• Experience managing resources, timelines and quality across multiple concurrent projects.
