Counter Executive / Senior Counter Executive – Retail Operations

About the role

The Counter Executive / Senior Counter Executive is the first point of contact for walk‑in customers at Blue Dart retail counters. The role involves handling shipment bookings, enquiries, documentation, payments and tracking while delivering a professional, customer‑centric experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome walk‑in customers, understand their needs and recommend suitable Blue Dart services.
• Accept, process and book domestic and international shipments following operational procedures.
• Prepare accurate shipment documentation, labels, invoices and customer receipts.
• Handle cash, card and digital payments, perform daily cash balancing and submit collections.
• Maintain a clean, organized counter, replenish consumables and ensure compliance with SOPs.
• Resolve customer queries, provide shipment status updates and escalate issues when needed.

Required profile

• Education: Higher Secondary (12th) mandatory; graduate preferred.
• Experience: 2–5 years in customer service, retail operations, banking, courier or hospitality, with exposure to shipment booking and cash handling.
