Cost Controller

About the role

The Cost Controller will support the property’s financial strategy by providing expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis. This full‑time position works closely with management to ensure financial decisions align with brand objectives and deliver strong returns on investment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial data and market trends to support strategic planning.
• Prepare annual budget plans, forecast sales versus expenses, and monitor actual performance against targets.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, including cost‑benefit analysis and new business initiatives.
• Review wage budgets and recommend adjustments for more efficient planning.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to manage business risks.
• Lead accounting teams, communicate goals clearly, and hold staff accountable for performance.
• Ensure accurate profit‑and‑loss reporting and timely submission of financial statements.
• Oversee tax compliance, internal, external and regulatory audits, and adherence to SOPs.

Required profile

• 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• No prior work experience required; entry‑level candidates are welcome.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to think creatively and practically.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for leading teams.
