Corporate Legal Counsel

About the role

You will act as the principal legal advisor to the company, working closely with executive leadership to provide commercially pragmatic guidance across multiple jurisdictions. The role covers corporate governance, commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, employment matters, M&A, legal risk management and litigation.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal governance frameworks across jurisdictions.
• Advise senior leadership on legal risks and recommend commercially practical solutions.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts and other legal documents.
• Manage regulatory compliance programs and employment/labour issues.
• Support M&A transactions, including due diligence and post‑deal integration.
• Oversee legal risk management and coordinate litigation matters.

• Ability to quickly research, understand and apply new legislation or legal frameworks.
• Clear communication of legal risks and practical recommendations.
• Composure under pressure, multitasking ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent judgement, confidence and humility when challenging assumptions.
• Proven relationship‑building skills across legal and non‑legal teams.
• Willingness to work onsite, travel internationally when required, and balance empathy with pragmatism.
