Contracting Counsel Specialist

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Contracting Counsel Specialist to join its Legal organization. In this fast‑paced corporate environment you will review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of contractual agreements that support the company’s digital, cloud, and consulting services.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate master services agreements, outsourcing agreements, statements of work, service level agreements, licensing, SaaS, data transfer, and RFP agreements.
• Support contracts involving cloud, blockchain security, applied intelligence, systems integration and agile development.
• Collaborate with senior contracting lawyers on complex deal structures and provide commercial risk advice.
• Identify, manage and mitigate contractual risk while ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.

Required profile

• LLB or JD (or equivalent) with 7‑11 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years of transactional experience in digital, consulting, systems integration or outsourcing, either in a law firm or a fast‑paced in‑house role.
• At least 1 year of experience negotiating intellectual property and data privacy issues.
• Strong executive presence and excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Proven negotiation skills and ability to manage a large volume of transactions independently.
• Experience drafting and negotiating technology‑focused agreements.
• Understanding of finance, accounting, marketing and management principles as they relate to contracts.
