Consulting Architect – Search

About the role

Elastic is looking for an experienced Consulting Architect to join its Global Capability Center in India. The role focuses on designing and implementing Elastic Stack solutions with a strong emphasis on Search AI for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of Elastic projects, including proof‑of‑concepts and large‑scale deployments.
• Conduct workshops to define strategy, roadmap, design, and sizing for customer environments.
• Develop data models, queries, and cluster tuning to achieve fast search and analytics at scale.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and support teams to feed back feature improvements and resolve defects.
• Mentor team members and engage with sales to scope opportunities and assess technical risks.

Required profile

• Active Elastic Certified Engineer certification.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Consulting Architect or senior technical consultant.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise search solutions in complex environments.
• Experience with GenAI, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector embeddings.
• Willingness to travel up to 20 % to client sites.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Enterprise Search design, relevance tuning, scaling, and performance optimization.
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Linux, networking, security, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation.
• Programming/scripting: Python, JavaScript, Go.
• Distributed system architecture and data modeling.
