Consultant Neurologist – Full-Time in Salem, Tamil Nadu

About the role

The hospital is seeking a qualified Consultant Neurologist to join its 100‑bedded facility in Salem, Tamil Nadu. This full‑time position offers immediate joining and extensive clinical exposure across both outpatient and inpatient services.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological disorders.
• Handle stroke cases and other neurological emergencies.
• Conduct OPD and IPD consultations, including management of epilepsy, seizures, headaches, and neuropathy.
• Evaluate and treat acute and chronic neurological conditions.
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with neurosurgery, radiology, and other clinical teams.
• Provide comprehensive patient counseling and follow‑up care.

Required profile

• DM Neurology from a recognized institute (e.g., NIMHANS, AIIMS, SCTIMST).
• Valid registration with NMC or the relevant State Medical Council.
• Strong clinical and patient‑management skills.
• Preference for candidates from reputed institutes.
